| The objective of the “unidad productiva para el desarrollo integral de la juventud” [productive unit for full development of youth] was modified. They can be set up in each ejido or rural community with the purpose of attempting to see that the children of the ejido workers and communities achieve “sound, full, productive participation in rural development.” The law now states that there will be financing and advisory programs of the federal government and local governments for the economic support of these units. |
