Amendments to the Law on the Administrative Verification Institute [Reformas a la Ley del Instituto de Verificación Administrativa] (Gaceta Oficial del Distrito Federal, July 8, 2011; in force the following day)
 
This institute oversees the application of all the administrative laws in the Federal District. The requirements for being a member of the General Board of the Institute have been made more flexible. It is no longer required that the person not have had a government job during the previous year and to be the Director General of the Institute the person no longer needs to be a citizen of the Federal District but has to have lived there six months. Also it is no longer required that that person not have had a position with the government during the last twelve months nor to have had a management position in a political party or association during the past six months. Also eliminated was the requirement of passing a confidence control exam.
